On the night of November 7, at 02:50, the transport artery connecting the two capitals returned to normal operation. Specialists have fully unlocked both directions of traffic on the federal highway M-10 in the Moscow region.
The cause of the transport collapse was a severe collision of a heavy truck with an above-ground passage near the village of Peshki in Solnechnogorsk district. As a result of the impact, massive spans lost stability and collapsed directly onto the asphalt, creating an insurmountable blockage.
At the moment, the operational phase is completed, but the specialists of the FKU Uprdor "Russia" did not leave the emergency site. A round-the-clock headquarters is deployed at the scene, road services continue to eliminate the consequences of the incident. Their tasks include the dismantling of twisted metal structures, the collection and removal of construction debris, as well as a detailed examination of the bearing supports for hidden damage.
According to preliminary information, the movement is carried out in free mode, but drivers are advised to remain vigilant and observe the speed limit due to possible traces of technical fluids on the canvas. The final dates for the full restoration of infrastructure and the dismantling of temporary fences will be known after the completion of the work of the expert commission. Motorists are offered to monitor the operational situation through official channels of the department.
