Two suspects in drug trafficking detained in Vologda

As part of operational measures in the regional capital, two local residents were detained: a 39-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man. Vologzhan is suspected of involvement in the sale of drugs.

The detention took place at the place of residence of the defendants – in an apartment on Leningradskaya Street. The police seized from the premises scales, SIM cards, tape, bags and containers with unknown contents. According to the results of studies, the substance was a synthetic drug with a total weight of 881.2 grams. The defendant admitted that the drugs were planned to be sold.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the detainees. They could face up to 20 years in prison. Both are now in custody.
