Dzhankoyets lost a share in the apartment for refusing to compensate for damage from a fatal accident
Resident of Dzhankoy lost a share of real estate due to unwillingness to compensate for damage caused by crime

A resident of Dzhankoy lost his share of real estate due to his unwillingness to compensate for the damage caused by the crime. This was reported in the press service of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
As told in the Department, the man became the culprit of the accident, which killed another local resident, and by the verdict of the court went to prison, and was also obliged to pay a relative of the deceased 1.1 million rubles. After his release, he was in no hurry to pay, so the bailiff of the department for Dzhankoy and Dzhankoy district initiated enforcement proceedings, arrested the debtor's bank accounts, imposed a ban on registration actions from his half of the share in the house and temporarily limited travel abroad.
The man did not draw proper conclusions, and then the bailiff arrested half of the share in the apartment, warning that the property would be valued and sold against the debt. However, the debtor still did not begin to compensate for damage, and after a while the arrested share was sold at auction. The debt was repaid in full, and the balance of the proceeds was returned to the debtor.
