Former investigator of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Stavropol received 3 years in prison for a bribe

The Petrovsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Stavropol Territory completed the investigation of the criminal case against the former senior investigator of the Supervision and Preventive Work Department in the Graznensky City District and the Turkmen Municipal District of the EMERCOM of Russia on the edge. The court found him guilty of taking a bribe.

As the investigation established, in 2023 in the village of Stavropol, the attacker received an illegal reward from a local resident. For the money, he promised not to bring a citizen to administrative responsibility for the fire on the land.

In order to secure the sentence, the property of the convict was arrested. The court appointed the man 3 years of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony, a fine of 200 thousand rubles, and also deprived him of the right to hold positions in the civil service related to the functions of a representative of the authorities for 2.5 years. In addition, he is deprived of a special title.
