In the media there were reports about the hospitalization of a one-year-old child in a medical institution in the city of Georgievsk, Stavropol Territory with signs of toxic poisoning. According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident could be accidental use of a narcotic substance.

On this fact, the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Stavropol Territory are conducting a procedural check. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the regional investigation department A.A. Perepelitsyn to report on the progress of the inspection and the established circumstances.
