One-year-old child died in an accident in the Russian region

In the Iskitimsky district of the Novosibirsk region there was a fatal accident.

According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident happened on Sunday evening, October 11, at the 69th kilometer of the federal highway R-256 "Chuisky tract".

The driver born in 1963, driving a Toyota Corolla, when turning to the right, drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a Honda Orthia moving in the opposite direction under the control of a 28-year-old man.

As a result of the accident, a 27-year-old Toyota passenger and her driver were injured.

The passenger of the oncoming car - a one-year-old boy born in 2025 - has died.

All circumstances of the incident are specified.
