In Hong Kong began the trial of the ex-husband of the famous model and blogger Abby Choi. The 28-year-old woman went missing on February 21, 2023, and two days later her dismembered remains were found in a house in Long Mei village of Tai Po district. That's what People wrote.
In the building, investigators found an electric saw and a meat grinder. The remains lay in a pan and refrigerator, the skull was in a separate pan. The next day, the ex-husband of the model Alex Kwong was arrested – he was detained on a ferry dock while trying to leave Hong Kong. Soon, Kwong Kau and Anthony Kwong, the man's father and brother, were taken into custody.
Choi came from a wealthy family, her personal fortune was estimated at 100 million Hong Kong dollars. After the divorce in 2015 between the former spouses continued the dispute over the rights to luxury real estate. The investigation considers this a motive for the massacre. The main organizer is called Kau, a retired police officer who rented a house for the crime. Anthony worked as Choi's driver and gave her a ride the day of the murder.
The three defendants deny guilt. The mother of Alex and Anthony in 2025 was sentenced to a year and a half in prison for false testimony and helping his son escape.
