Inspector from the Ivanovo region was caught disclosing tax secrets

In Ivanovo completed the investigation of a large-scale leak of data from the tax service.

In the dock will be a former chief inspector of the FTS. For two and a half years (from December 2022 to April 2025), she illegally used her official position.

According to investigators, the woman acted in the interests of her friend, who works in one of the commercial banks. From closed databases, she regularly gave him information constituting tax secrecy, as well as personal data of citizens and entrepreneurs.

The prosecutor’s office has already approved an indictment on articles on abuse of power, illegal access to computer information and disclosure of tax secrets. The case has been referred to the Frunze District Court.
