Due to improper condition of elevators in Tver initiated a case

The Zavolzhsky interdistrict investigative department of the SU IC of the Russian Federation in the region opened a case in the fact of servicing apartment building No. 3 on the 1st lane of the Red Sloboda on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, the proper maintenance of the house by the employees of the HOA was not provided: the necessary works on repair or replacement of elevator equipment were not performed. As a result, residents, especially those with limited mobility and the elderly, were deprived of the opportunity to safely go up and down to their apartments, which posed a threat to their lives and health.

Investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
