Kalujan warns of 'fake cops'
Police report increased cases of fraud involving a group of people who come to the Caludians home, posing as police officers

The police report more frequent cases of fraud involving a group of people who come to the Caludians home, posing as police officers.
It is specified that the fraudsters have forms with the symbols of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the scheme, they assure residents that they need to check their identity cards and pass biometrics. All this is within the framework of the upcoming “census of the population”.
“They look presentable. They can wear a MVD uniform. They express their intention to take your photo/fingerprint. They have a laptop, a biometric device and a list of tenants with them, the department explained.
This is all a fraudulent scheme. Residents are asked not to let unknown persons into the apartment and not to provide them with any information without official procedures in government institutions.
“If such people appear, call 102. Fraudsters ask to fill out such forms, the police explained.
Earlier, “MK in Kaluga” wrote that in Obninsk vandals broke the glass in the transition.
