Caludians told how fraudsters use AI

Modern capabilities of artificial intelligence are widely used to create deepfakes and other types of deception. These are fake audio and video materials, tempting messages and announcements and automation of calls and mailings.

Cyber security expert Vladimir Ulyanov said that even when fraudsters do not have decent material, AI can make a script or letter that meets the wishes of users.

He told the Public News Service that one should be wary of suspicious reports, check their sources and not trust unfamiliar links.
