Wanted to buy spare parts, but lost money: scammers cheated Minsk on 4 thousand rubles

Minchanin became a victim of cyber scammers when trying to purchase components for the car. The amount of damage caused exceeded 4 thousand rubles. This was reported in the Mingory Executive Committee, writes sb.by.

The man was looking for parts to repair the body of his car and came across a tempting ad in one of the social networks. Minchanin contacted the “manager” and specified the availability of the necessary details. The seller assured that all positions are in stock, however, for the registration of delivery it is necessary to make an advance payment. The victim agreed and transferred 1.3 thousand rubles to the specified bank account.

After some time, the “seller” sent a photoconfirmation of the allegedly invoice delivery service, after which he persuaded the buyer to transfer the remaining amount – about 2.8 thousand rubles.

Having received money for the goods, the attacker blocked the client and stopped communicating.
