Kirovchanka lost 109,000 rubles after downloading the photo editor
In Kirov 50-year-old local resident was the victim of remote fraud after installing malware

Viewing the tape in one of the social networks, the woman drew attention to the advertising service for processing photos. Interested in the offer, she clicked on the link and downloaded the file from the app store.
After editing the necessary pictures, the citizen closed the program and never returned to it.
However, the next day, Kirovskaya found the money missing. Going into the personal account of the online bank, she saw that 109,000 rubles were written off from her account by three separate operations, while she did not confirm any transfers herself.
The bank explained to the applicant that the profile had to be blocked due to suspicious transactions.
Realizing that under the guise of a photo editor, a virus penetrated the phone, the victim turned to law enforcement agencies for help. On this fact, the investigators opened a criminal case under paragraph "d" of part 3 of article 159 of the criminal code.
In connection with the incident, police officers in the region remind residents of the need to exercise caution.
Experts recommend downloading programs exclusively from trusted sources and do not follow dubious links in advertising.
Kirov residents are also advised not to provide third-party services with access to personal data and financial instruments, and in case of suspected infection of the device with a virus, immediately block cards and contact their bank.
