Kirov motorist lost 66,000 rubles when trying to buy wheels
The police of Kirov appealed 51-year-old local resident with a statement about the remote fraud committed against him

A man lost a large amount of money trying to buy car wheels on an ad on the Internet.
The police found that in early October the victim was looking for suitable wheels for his car in the network. Having chosen a suitable offer, Kirov moved to the messenger to contact the seller, where they discussed in detail the terms of the upcoming transaction.
Having agreed on the purchase, the man transferred 66,000 rubles to the provided details. In response, the seller sent a photo of the receipt of the shipment of goods and provided a special track number to track the delivery.
Soon after receiving payment, the fake seller deleted the entire history of correspondence and stopped communicating.
When the victim contacted the transport company to clarify the status of the order, experts explained that the provided track code was only a preliminary application and no real cargo was sent.
Realizing the fact of deception, the victim wrote a statement to law enforcement agencies. Investigators opened a criminal case on the grounds of fraud with causing significant damage to a citizen.
Kirov police officers urge residents of the region to be vigilant, not to transfer money to unknown persons and make online purchases exclusively on trusted trading platforms with a reliable reputation.
