Bed bugs on board disrupt Rome-Perth flight

A flight from Rome to Perth has been cancelled after bed bugs were found on board the plane. This was reported by Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald. The incident occurred after a Perth-Rome flight on October 9.
According to the publication, insects were found in the cabin of economy class. During the flight to Perth, passengers affected by the bites were provided with antihistamines, but their supply quickly ran out.
After the cancellation of the return flight, passengers were provided with temporary accommodation. Their tickets were rebooked for other flights within 48 hours.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, on which the incident occurred, was temporarily decommissioned for fumigation. The airline assured that the aircraft undergo preventive disinfection every 50 days.
The carrier apologized to the passengers. He explained that the flight cancellation allowed engineers and specialists to conduct thorough sanitary treatment after identifying a problem with a small number of seats.
Earlier, the MK wrote that the Chihuahua dog caused the delay of the Adler-Vladikavkaz train: the passenger did not issue a ticket for the pet, because of which a conflict broke out in the car. The girl first tried to take the dog, and then called the police to disembark her from the train.
