Conflict over men's attention ended in hospital and night in IVS cell

In the German city of Hagen, a 39-year-old woman was detained after a conflict with another visitor, which, according to preliminary data, arose because of the attention of men. As a result of the quarrel, the 24-year-old girl was injured and hospitalized.

The suspect refused to leave the institution at the request of the police and spent the rest of the night in the IVS cell before sobering up. This was reported by Hagen police on October 11.

The incident occurred on Sunday night on Elberfelder Strasse Street. At about 01:20 local time, police received a message about the conflict in one of the catering establishments.

According to the preliminary version of law enforcement officers, two local residents aged 39 and 24 years tried to attract the attention of men who were in the institution. Between the women there was a quarrel, during which the older visitor, presumably, strongly pushed the younger.

As a result, the 24-year-old girl suffered injuries that required medical attention. An ambulance crew arrived and took her to the hospital. The nature of the injuries and the condition of the victim after hospitalization, the police did not specify.

In relation to the 39-year-old resident of Hagen began a criminal investigation on suspicion of causing bodily harm. Police also found that the woman was in a state of heavy alcohol intoxication.

Staff demanded that she leave the establishment and the surrounding area. At the same time, the woman was warned that if she ignored the order, she could be forcibly taken to the police station.

However, the initial intervention of law enforcement officers did not help resolve the situation. As early as 01:54, 34 minutes after the first call, the police again had to send a patrol to the same address.

At the scene, officers found the same 39-year-old woman. According to the agency, she refused to cooperate with the police, became increasingly aggressive and showed sharp mood swings.

Law enforcement officers decided to place the offender in custody to ensure the implementation of the previously issued order to leave the territory and prevent possible new offenses.

Before being placed in the cell, the woman was examined by a police doctor. The doctor confirmed that the condition of the detainee allows her to be kept in isolation. She spent the rest of the night there until she sobered up.
