Short circuit destroys Volkswagen Transporter in Nevelsky district

In the village of Rivne Nevelsky municipal district on October 24, a fire occurred, as a result of which the car completely burned down. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Pskov region.

The fire was reported to rescuers at 12:05. By the time the firefighters arrived, the 1998 Volkswagen Transporter T4 had already been engulfed in fire. The car burned out from the inside all over the square. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was the emergency mode of operation of electrical equipment due to a short circuit.

To eliminate the fire, two employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three specialists of the regional fire protection and two pieces of equipment were sent to the place. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
