В Индии в штате Гуджарат крокодил утащил в реку и растерзал 61-летнего отставного полицейского. Трагедия произошла на глазах у его сына. Об этом сообщает Gujarat Samachar.

В четверг, 8 октября, Нареш Пирубхай Бхалия из деревни Палди пошел к реке за водой. Емкость выскользнула у него из рук, и мужчина зашел в воду, чтобы достать ее. В этот момент на него напал огромный крокодил. Рептилия схватила Бхалию и потащила в воду.

Сын находился рядом и пытался спасти отца, но не смог. Крокодил плавал по реке, держа пенсионера в пасти, а затем утащил его в прибрежные заросли.

На место прибыли полиция и сотрудники департамента лесного хозяйства. Им потребовался час, чтобы вырубить заросли и добраться до Бхалии. Спасти его уже было невозможно. Рядом находились еще несколько крокодилов.
