Leopard drags three-year-old into the forest

In the Indian state of Gujarat, a leopard attacked a three-year-old boy and dragged him into the woods. It is reported by the Times of India.

According to the newspaper, the child with his mother went out to the street to relieve need. At this point, a leopard attacked the boy. The woman, seeing the animal, lost consciousness.

When she regained consciousness, she did not find her son nearby. The mother asked for help. Local residents and a deputy were involved in the search for the child. After walking half a kilometer along the bloody trail, they found the boy, but they could not save him - he was already dead.

Officials promised to pay compensation to the family.

In addition, the authorities began to set special traps that will help to catch the predator.

Earlier in India, a leopard broke into a house and injured six people. The family was able to lock the animal in one of the rooms and call the police. All the victims were taken to hospital.

Also in India, a leopard entered a hospital, attacked a woman and hid in a toilet.
