“Easy earnings”: Pskov girl became a victim of false brokers

A resident of Pskov fell for the trick of fraudsters who promised quick income on the stock exchange. It all started with advertising in social networks - it promised easy money on investments. The woman registered at the proposed site, and soon the so-called “personal analyst” contacted her. This “MK in Pskov” reported the victim of fraudsters.

For several weeks, the attackers maintained the illusion of success: the personal account displayed graphs demonstrating a steady growth of investments. The picture looked convincing - it seemed that the investment was indeed profitable.

The situation changed dramatically when Pskov decided to withdraw the earned funds. At the same time, new requirements appeared: to withdraw money, it was supposedly necessary to pay a “tax” and a “commission”. Under pressure and constant promises of quick profit, the woman took several loans and eventually transferred about 2.5 million rubles to scammers.
