A lover of exquisite tea was detained in Gatchina right at the crime scene

In the Leningrad region, police detained a man who was on the federal wanted list after he tried to kidnap a samovar. This was reported in the press service of the GU MIA of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

On October 27, at about 13:45, a local resident contacted the police of the Gatchina district. He said that in the neighboring suburban area in the village of Kartashevskaya was seen by an unknown man.

Police quickly detained a 36-year-old resident of Gatchina, who does not work anywhere. The man illegally entered the country house and tried to steal a samovar worth 5 thousand rubles. However, all his attempts at robbery were stopped in time, and he was detained right at the scene of the crime.

Upon further consideration, it turned out that since May of this year, the man caught is listed in the federal wanted list as a convict who does not fulfill the imposed punishment in the form of forced labor.

A criminal case was opened under the article on attempted robbery. The suspect was arrested and the initiator of the search was notified. Earlier, “MK in Leningrad region” reported that the Prosecutor’s office of Kingisepp district has achieved the protection of the rights of the contractor, who owed 23 million.
