Minchanin became the victim of another fraudster. The scheme of deception developed in a classical way: tempting advertising on the Internet about additional earnings on the stock exchange. Details of the criminal incident on the air of the program “Causes and Effect” on “Radio-Minsk” told the official representative of the Investigative Committee Alexander Sukhodolsky.
"Cause and effect"
After seeing an advertisement for additional earnings on the stock exchange on the Internet, the Minsk citizen clicked on the link to Telegram and contacted an allegedly financial specialist. He helped to register on the platform, after which, on behalf of a “established broker from Minsk”, he convinced a gullible citizen to make auctions.
During the year, the Minsk citizen invested real money in a non-existent exchange. The total loss was 27,000 BYN. When the man was once again unable to enter his personal account, the curator reported that another 6,700 BYNs must be deposited to unlock it. The failed broker wanted to transfer money, but told his wife about the situation. The woman realized that they were fraudsters and prevented the actions of her husband.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Fraud”.
