A woman and her four children were killed in a fire in an apartment on the fourth floor of a residential building in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened, the SU IC of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory and the EAO reported.

The fire occurred in the early morning of October 8 in a house on Gamarnik Street. During the fire extinguishing in the apartment found the bodies of five people – a woman and her four children.
Investigators opened a case under part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on causing death by negligence to two or more persons.
The circumstances of the tragedy and the causes of the fire are established. Investigators carry out the necessary measures in the framework of the criminal case.
