A young resident of Pskov tried to find a part-time job online and saw a tempting offer: it was necessary to like hotels on Booking - they promised to pay for each click. At first, the scheme looked plausible: for a few performed actions, the guy really transferred 500 rubles to the card. This put the vigilance to sleep and convinced the "work" was real.
Soon, the “manager” said that to move to a higher income, you need to “buy” the reservation for an impressive amount – allegedly the money will return along with interest. Having succumbed to persuasion, the young man got into debt, issued a credit card and transferred almost 400 thousand rubles to fraudsters. Immediately after that, the “employer” stopped communicating and completely disappeared.
If you encounter a suspicious job offer or have already been the victim of a scam, contact the police immediately. It is also useful to report the scheme to the Bank of Russia, which helps to identify and block fraudulent projects.
