The bear was eliminated near the dachas on Sakhalin

The brown bear was eliminated in the Second Padi area of Korsakov district of the Sakhalin region. This was reported in the Agency of forestry and hunting of the region.

Experts said that earlier in this area have already seized bears that posed a threat to people. The situation remains under control, the territory is surveyed, and incoming reports are checked around the clock.

Animals move between the First and Second Padya and at night appear on the territory of various horticultural associations. For specialists, the search is complicated by a large survey area and the constant change of places where bears are noticed.

Hunters noted that dense buildings, the proximity of houses and roads, as well as the presence of people limit the possibility of using weapons. Residents were urged not to leave food and waste on the sites.
