A criminal case has been sent to the court against a 41-year-old previously unconvicted citizen who is accused of theft, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency was told in the Frunze district prosecutor's office.

At lunchtime, being intoxicated, the accused passed by the house on the street. Sharangovich and saw a black purse on the bench near the entrance. It contained a passport, pass, student card, bank card and 135 BYN.

The attacker took the cash, and threw the documents and wallet into the bin. Then he began to drink with friends on the same bench alcoholic beverages, which he bought for stolen money. At the height of the feast, a young man approached them and asked if the men had found a wallet. The defendant said he was in the trash.

The young man called the police. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened against an unclean Minsk citizen.

- The accused is single, has no children, has a higher education, is not officially employed anywhere, is a disabled person of the III group, has not previously been brought to criminal responsibility, said Andrei Serbun, deputy prosecutor of the Frunze district. He was charged with secret theft of property (theft), that is, in committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code. The citizen fully acknowledged the guilt, the damage caused voluntarily compensated. According to experts, he needs compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism.

A preventive measure was applied against the accused in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.
