In relation to the 39-year-old citizen opened a criminal case — he is accused of theft, told the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the Prosecutor’s office of the Oktyabrsky district.

In the afternoon, the defendant walked down the street. Savitsky and saw an unlocked house. He went into it and stole construction tools – a mounting pistol and a punch with a total value of 950 BYN.

Finding the loss of property, the victim appealed to the police. The identity of the thief was quickly established, a criminal case was opened against him.

- The accused had previously had problems with the law - the conviction was extinguished, said Alexey Volynets, deputy prosecutor of the Oktyabrsky district. He was charged with secret theft of property (theft), that is, in committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code, the sanction of which is up to three years in prison. A preventive measure in the form of a prohibition of certain actions was applied against the accused.
