Scammers deceived the Kirov company in the supply of automotive equipment
In July of this year, an e-mail of an organization that implements special equipment for repairing vehicles received a commercial offer from a person who introduced himself as an employee of the procurement department of the Syktyvkar Motor Show

Unknown reported about the desire to purchase a large batch of goods from Kirov suppliers.
During the negotiations, the parties agreed on the terms of the transaction and issued a contract of sale for a total amount of more than 2,300,000 rubles. The key point of the agreement was the deferment of payment for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of delivery of the cargo.
Soon, the pseudo-buyer sent the supplier a power of attorney in the name of the driver authorized to pick up the goods from the Moscow warehouse and deliver it to Syktyvkar.
The management of the Kirov enterprise ordered the shipment of products from a warehouse in Moscow.
Immediately after the goods were removed, the attacker deleted the correspondence and stopped any contacts. The agreed payment to the accounts of the seller never arrived.
Later, representatives of the real motor show in Syktyvkar said that no deals with partners from Kirov were not concluded and the goods were not ordered.
The injured Kirov businessman appealed for help to law enforcement agencies. Investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of fraud on an especially large scale in accordance with part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code.
Currently, police officers conduct operational-search measures to establish all the circumstances of the crime and arrest the perpetrators.
The department reminds citizens and business representatives of the need to remain vigilant in remote registration of commercial transactions.
Experts recommend agreeing in detail each clause of the contract, carefully checking payment details and counterparties, as well as shipping products only after full confirmation of the reliability of the buyer.
