Fraudsters stole from the businessman goods for 10 million rubles
The buyers indicated that the goods were intended for the needs of a special military operation, and guaranteed payment upon receipt.

Employees of the investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tomsk restored the rights of a local individual entrepreneur engaged in the production of meat products, who became a victim of a fraudulent scheme. The stolen cargo was returned to the owner.
According to the Agency, the businessman received by e-mail a business offer from the capital company. After negotiations with the head of the sales department, the parties agreed on the terms of the transaction, including the timing of production and logistics, and concluded a supply agreement. The buyers indicated that the goods were intended for the needs of a special military operation, and guaranteed payment upon receipt. The cost of the party, the entrepreneur estimated at 10 million rubles.
The first doubts arose from the businessman on the day of shipment: the truck driver in a conversation mentioned that he was going to Barnaul, while Moscow was listed in the invoice. When after the expiration of the contractual terms, funds to the current account did not arrive, the man began to check the information about the customer’s company on the Internet and found his product put up for sale on one of the free ads platforms. He then immediately went to the police.
As part of the operational measures, law enforcement officers established a warehouse in Barnaul, where the cargo originally arrived. For three weeks, the attackers changed logistics centers, transport and drivers, trying to confuse the tracks. Having established the data of the last carrier, the police found out that the cargo was being sent to Krasnodar. In the specified warehouse, the goods were seized and transferred to the rightful owner.
