Fraudsters hack messengers under the pretext of updating data on attachment to the clinic

Attackers send messages on behalf of clinics in messengers, inviting users to click on the link to confirm attachment to a medical institution or disconnection from it.

The link leads to a phishing site, where you need to enter a code from SMS and send it to the chat allegedly clinics. In this way, criminals get access to accounts in messengers, as well as to the portal “Public Services”.

Remember: government agencies do not request confirmation or update of personal data through messengers and social networks. To resolve such issues, citizens are invited to a personal reception.
