The husband of the detained St. Petersburg woman, who is accused of trying to kill her 12-year-old son, spoke about the problems in her business and the difficulties faced by the family. Alexander told REN TV on October 10.
According to the man, his wife holds the position of CEO of the company, but recently her affairs have gone badly and the business has suffered major losses.
Alexander also said that the boy has a developmental delay: he hardly perceives the speech addressed to him and does not speak. At the same time, the mother, according to her husband, tried to help her son - she bought expensive equipment for rehabilitation and took him to educational classes.
"I think she thought my son was a burden to me because I work remotely and he spends most of his time with me," he said.
The child remains in hospital in serious condition. Earlier it was reported that 41-year-old Valentina G. poured 70 percent vinegar into her son’s mouth, doused his face, and then immersed the boy in water in Duderhof Lake and fled. The child was able to get to the shore on his own. The woman was detained in the case of attempted murder of a minor. She admitted her guilt in part.
