A man from the Moksha district will stand trial for wanting to overhear what his subordinates say

The desire to eavesdrop on the conversations of subordinates turned into a criminal case for a 61-year-old resident of the Moksha district.

According to the SU IC of Russia in the Penza region, the accused worked in one of the limited liability companies. At the end of December 2025, he purchased an electronic device with which he planned to secretly listen to the conversations of subordinate employees of the organization.

After receiving the device, the man stored it in the garage. Subsequently, a special technical tool was seized by a regional FSB officer.

During the investigation, the man pleaded guilty. He was charged under Article 138.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - illegal acquisition of special technical means intended for secret obtaining information.

The criminal investigation is completed. The materials were sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
