Man lured women into apartment with drugs and hidden cameras

A 54-year-old Israeli citizen has been detained in Thailand on suspicion of crimes against women, illegal possession of drugs and violating immigration laws. According to police, the man met the women through apps, invited them home and treated them to pastries, allegedly containing prohibited substances. In his phone found intimate videos that could be made without the consent of the participants, reports Khaosod English.

The operation was carried out on October 23 in a residential complex of Huaikhwang district in Bangkok. The suspect was 54-year-old Israeli Tomer Kahiri. Police arrested a 44-year-old Thai woman.

The reason for the investigation was an appeal to the DEA hotline. The applicant reported that a foreigner with an eagle tattoo on his left shoulder had met women online and invited them to an apartment. According to reports, after eating the food offered by him, some guests experienced unusual physical sensations.

During the search, police seized about 15 grams of the drug, 50 small plastic bags, electronic scales and a tray of cakes. Investigators are checking whether there may have been prohibited substances in the baking.

In the mobile phone, the men found alleged recordings of drug deals and intimate videos. Police are investigating whether the footage was taken with the consent of the women and whether the recordings could have been used for blackmail.

A check of the documents showed that the Israeli was in Thailand for 2095 days longer than the allowed period. He did not have a full-time job, although he had money for his daily expenses.

During the arrest, the man denied belonging to him found drugs. According to local media reports, he threatened police dismissal and claimed that influential acquaintances would secure his release within two hours. Threats to kill a police officer were also reported.

The foreigner is suspected of joint possession of drugs, violation of the migration regime and disobeying the requirements of law enforcement officers. The detained taika is charged with the storage and use of prohibited substances.

Both were handed over to Huaikhwang police. Investigations into alleged crimes against women are ongoing.
