Man detained with dozens of sex videos of underage schoolgirls

In Tokyo, police detained a 25-year-old man surnamed Sato, known by the nickname Uni, on suspicion of making pornographic materials involving a minor. When examining his phone, investigators found about a hundred intimate videos, some of which may contain images of girls under 18. This was reported by Nippon TV News NNN.

According to law enforcement officers, in November 2025, the suspect filmed a 16-year-old schoolgirl on a smartphone in a hotel in Shinjuku district. The investigation believes that the man reliably knew the age of the girl, but continued shooting.

While examining the seized phone, police found a recording of Sato suggesting that the minor take pills. He told her that the drug was safe. What kind of drugs the man offered and whether the schoolgirl used them has not yet been established.

In total, the memory of the device was about a hundred videos of an intimate nature. According to preliminary estimates of investigators, 21 of them may be attended by girls under 18 years. Law enforcement officers check the age of the participants, so final conclusions about the content of all materials have not yet been made.

The investigation began after a police raid in February 2026 in the Toyoko district. This place is known in Tokyo as a place where teenagers and young people regularly gather. The information obtained during the inspection allowed investigators to reach out to the suspect.

According to the channel, during the interrogation, Sato admitted that he filmed a schoolgirl. He also stated that he knew about her minor and understood that such actions were prohibited by law.

Police are continuing to examine the remaining records and establish the circumstances of their creation. The possible involvement of the man in other crimes has not yet been reported.
