Interior Ministry: three couriers of telephone scammers with more than 50 thousand were detained.

Over the past day, the police received more than 300 reports of phone calls scammers, the vast majority of atrocities prevented. This was reported to the interior Ministry, writes sb.by.

The police registered 22 crimes committed using information and communication technologies.

The department of the organization of processing fraudulent transactions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated the blocking of two phishing Internet resources (fake trading platforms, banks or services indistinguishable from real ones), blocked the possibility of payments to 48 foreign payment details used by attackers, suspended spending operations on 87 accounts.

- Operatives detained three couriers working in the interests of scammers. They have seized more than 50 thousand, — said the Agency. Visching on behalf of officials (telephone fraud) and buying goods on the Internet are the leaders in the way of committing illegal acts. Then there are thefts using social networks.
