On the Chelyabinsk criminal group “Artakovsky” opened another criminal case

This was reported by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk. This time, a case was opened for the group under Parts 1 and 2 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - the creation and participation in an organized criminal community. Earlier, members of the gang have already been accused on articles on hooliganism, kidnapping, extortion, as well as on items related to drugs.

Wolf noted that inside the “Artakovsky” there was a hierarchy even with its branches: one in Chelyabinsk, the other in Plast. Proceeds from well-planned crimes went to the general treasury. With these funds, they supported members of the group serving sentences in prison.

“In addition, the accomplices adhered to the ideology of the movement, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia,” she added.

The story with the disclosure of the cases of “Artakovsky” began in November 2025. Then employees of the FSB and the GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chelyabinsk region detained the leader of the group Artak Varosyan. Now he and more than ten members of the gang are in jail.
