On the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle extinguished the fire
France’s only nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, Charles de Gaulle, was on fire at the port of Toulon.

A fire broke out on the French nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. With reference to the maritime prefecture on the Mediterranean sea informs RIA “Novosti”.
The incident occurred on Monday, October 5, in the main military port of France, where the ship was undergoing maintenance. According to preliminary data, the fire began at 11:30 local time (12:30 Minsk time) in one of the technical premises with an area of no more than ten square meters. The reason was the work on gas cutting. The room is next to the hangar, but at the time of the fire, the aircraft were not stationed there.
The fire was fought for about an hour: by 12:30 the fire was taken under control, and by 13:50 completely extinguished. Authorities said no one was injured in the incident. The ship's nuclear installations were not affected either. In July, the carrier returned to Toulon after completing a mission in the Middle East.
