In Kamchatka, the carelessness of a teenager ended in tragedy

On October 10, on the third kilometer of the highway "Debarkader - Weather" in the village of Ust-Kamchatsk, an accident occurred with a tragic outcome, the regional prosecutor's office reported. According to preliminary information, a 16-year-old boy who does not have the right to drive vehicles was riding a motorcycle, did not cope with the steering wheel, drove outside the carriageway and crashed into a road sign.

From the received injuries, the minor died at the scene.

On this fact, a pre-investigation check was organized, during which all the circumstances and causes of the tragedy were clarified. Within the framework of supervisory measures, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of citizens who allowed the transfer of a vehicle to a minor. Procedural inspections conducted by law enforcement agencies are taken under special control of the prosecutor's office.
