Over the past day, ten earthquakes occurred in the region, one of which residents of certain districts of the regional center felt with a force of up to two points.
All recorded seismic events occurred in one zone of the Pacific Ocean. The foci were more than 200 kilometers southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
According to the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, seismic activity in the region continues. A day earlier, experts recorded 34 unfelt seismic events and two tremors that were felt in the city with a force of up to two points.
