In Kuban, seven cows tried to take to North Ossetia without documents

In the Krasnodar region on September 16 stopped the transportation of seven heads of cattle without identification marks and veterinary accompanying documents. The animals were stopped on the 209th km of the R-217 "Caucasus" highway by employees of the Southern Interregional Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor together with police officers.

Documents confirming the territorial and species origin of the animals, the carrier was not. According to him, the cattle were purchased in personal farms in the Krasnodar Territory and sent to North Ossetia - Alania for personal needs.

The Rosselkhoznadzor issued demands to stop the further transportation of cattle and place the animals in an isolated detention – quarantine. It is also prescribed to carry out anti-epizootic measures under the supervision of the state veterinary service. Information about the detected violation was sent to the Veterinary Department of the Krasnodar Territory, the press service of the Southern Interregional Directorate of the Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
