In Stavropol, two ex-operators were convicted for trying to get 600 thousand rubles

The SD sentenced the former operative of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Shpakovsky. They were found guilty of attempted fraud, reported in the SU IC of Russia in the Stavropol Territory.

According to the investigation, from February to March of this year, the defendants learned about the check on the application for robbery. Wanting to earn money, they told a friend of the suspect that for 600 thousand rubles can affect the refusal to initiate a criminal case. The man agreed and handed over the money, although in reality the police could not influence the procedural decision.

The scheme was stopped by employees of the own security unit of the regional Central Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The former officers were detained immediately after receiving the money.

The court appointed them 1 year 10 months and 1 year 8 months of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony. They are also deprived of special titles and the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies for 2 years.
