On the highway M-1 in Safonovsk municipal district there was a triple accident

At about 10:00 on the 285th kilometer of the highway M-1 "Belarus" in the direction of Moscow there was an accident.

According to preliminary data, the 38-year-old driver of the MAN truck could not withstand a safe distance and collided with an MTZ tractor moving ahead, which was driven by a 55-year-old man. The truck then crashed into a Hyundai car driven by a 63-year-old driver.

As a result of the collision, MAN overturned on the roadway and caught fire. The fire also engulfed a Hyundai car.

The driver of the tractor was injured and was taken to Safonovskaya CRB.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked at the scene. Traffic in the area was temporarily restricted. The journey is organized along the oncoming lane.
