According to preliminary data, on September 19, 2026, at about 20:20 on the 184th km of the R-23 Minsk-Mikashevichi highway, an accident occurred: a 45-year-old driver of a Renault Master car shot down a 65-year-old pedestrian. This is reported by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Gomel region.
The man was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, crossing the road in the wrong place - next to an unregulated pedestrian crossing, while there was no retroreflective element on it.
From the injuries received in the accident, the pedestrian died - death occurred at the scene.
