On the highway in Chelno-Vershinsky district, a Mercedes truck knocked down a pedestrian to death

On the evening of October 25, 2026 at 18:47 rescuers received an emergency call about a serious road accident.

The accident occurred on the 48th kilometer of the Ural-Sergievsk-Chelno-Vershiny highway in Chelno-Vershinsky district. A Mercedes-Benz truck hit pedestrians on the roadway.

At the scene of the tragedy promptly arrived the calculations of the fire and rescue squad No. 42. Together with them, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the ambulance brigade worked.

Specialists conducted a full collection of information and organized priority measures to eliminate the consequences.

As a result of the collision, the man, unfortunately, died before the arrival of doctors. A woman with serious injuries was urgently hospitalized in the Sergievsk Central District Hospital.

The circumstances of the incident are now being clarified in detail by law enforcement officers.
