Motorist Day in Russia is celebrated annually on the last Sunday of October. This year, the holiday fell on the 25th.
On the eve of the date near Kindergarten No. 91 Orel, employees of the Department of State Traffic Inspectorate of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with a separate SB DPS and representatives of the Parental Patrol, held an action, during which they congratulated drivers on the upcoming holiday.
According to the press service of the Ministry, in the early morning, the motor inspectors, together with their young assistants and representatives of the “Parent Patrol” met all those arriving at the gates of the kindergarten and checked whether parents and children comply with the rules of the road. They also had preventive conversations and briefings. As gifts, the young assistants of traffic inspectors “DPS-91” handed letters to motorists with a request to comply with traffic rules.
The traffic police added that during the inspection did not record a single case of violation by drivers of traffic rules.
