In the Suvorov district of the Tula region on the Suvorov reservoir killed 51-year-old man. His body was found today and brought to shore by divers of the regional search and rescue service, told “MK in Tula” in the press service of the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the region.
According to preliminary data, the tragedy occurred during fishing: the man got entangled in the fishing net and could not get out.
Against the background of this tragedy, the Emergencies Ministry of Russia reminds of safety rules on water bodies. Fishing is recommended to take rescue equipment, phone, first aid kit and flashlight. You can not fish in a state of alcoholic intoxication: alcohol slows down the reaction and prevents the timely assessment of the danger. Parents are also advised to explain to their children why they should not play by rivers and lakes without adult supervision.
Earlier, MK in Tula reported on the alarming statistics of deaths on the waters of the region. From January to August 2026 in the Tula region drowned 15 people, including four minors. Such data were given in the regional department of Emergencies. According to rescuers, for example, children are most often in danger when left by the water without adult supervision.
That is why the emergency services continue to patrol the reservoirs and conduct preventive conversations with vacationers. Rescuers urged not to lose vigilance near the water.
