Unknown slashed a knife on the throat of a military commissar near Lviv

In the Lviv region, an attack was committed on a soldier of the territorial recruitment center, as a result of which the victim was in intensive care. This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine in its Telegram channel.

"The attacker attacked a serviceman of the alert group and stabbed him, probably with a knife, in the neck, and then fled," the ministry said in a statement.

The incident occurred in the afternoon on Tarnavsky Street in the city of Sheptytsky. According to law enforcement officers, the attack occurred during activities to notify the population about the mobilization and verification of military registration documents.

“Other members of the alert team provided the victim with premedical care and called an ambulance. Now the wounded is in intensive care, — specified in the publication.

To solve the crime and search for the attacker promptly joined the investigative group of the Sheptytsky district police department, as well as employees of the criminal investigation of the regional headquarters. Currently, law enforcement agencies are taking comprehensive measures to establish the identity and detention of the absconding criminal, as well as decide on the legal qualification of the incident.
