On October 31, on the 77th kilometer of the R-36 Mozyr highway - the border of Ukraine, a 17-year-old drunk driver of Audi taxied into the oncoming lane, and later his car collided with a tree. Three passengers died (16 years and two 17). Details of the incident on the air of the program “Causes and Effect” on “Radio-Minsk” told the official representative of the Investigative Committee Alexander Sukhodolsky.
Youth, speed and road: accidents with minors
According to preliminary data, on October 31, the night of five minor residents of the city. The nurses after a joint rest decided to ride around the area. To do this, the 17-year-old without permission took home the keys to the Audi of his older brother, got behind the wheel and drove friends out of town. The driver and part of the passengers were intoxicated.
At about 3:30 on the 77th kilometer of the highway R-36 Mozyr — Lelchitsy — Miloshevichy — the border of Ukraine, the young man could not cope with the management and went to the oncoming lane. When trying to return to its lane, the car carried out in the right ditch, where it collided with a tree.
As a result of the accident killed three passengers of the car. The driver and another 15-year-old passenger were hospitalized.
At the scene of the accident, an investigative and operational group, employees of the regional investigation and the forensic department of the USK worked. Investigators, in cooperation with experts, record a trace picture, seize objects significant for the investigation. Witnesses are being questioned.

A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 317 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules or the operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence). The final legal assessment of the driver’s actions will be given after a set of investigative actions.
