Novodvinka won the court for the broken ice car on the Krasnoflot bridge

A resident of Novodvinsk sued the utilities compensation for the crashed car: on the Krasnoflot bridge in Arkhangelsk on the car collapsed a block of snow and ice. This is reported by IA “Dvina-Inform” with reference to the Novodvinsk city court.

Last fall, the woman was returning home to Novodvinsk on this bridge. At some point, snow and ice fell on the car from the bridge ceilings. As a result, the windshield broke, and everyone in the car was very scared.

Proving that this is what happened was not easy. Experts of the bridge maintenance organization said that snow and ice can not accumulate on the bridge ceilings – the structure is designed so that this does not happen. However, the court dealt with the situation.

Utilities had to cover the costs of repairing the machine, compensate for moral damage and harm caused to health, as well as pay legal costs.
