The police of the Krasnogvardeysky district on October 4 received a message about a fire in the shopping pavilion on the Murinsk road. During the investigation, it became known that the store could deliberately set fire to two men who quarreled with the owner. This is reported by the press service of the GU MIA of Russia in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.
The police quickly arrived at the scene and found that the fire completely destroyed the metal structure, a nearby container, household appliances and clothing. The damage caused to the businessman was estimated at 2.5 million rubles.
In the course of operational-search activities, it turned out that the fire could have arisen in the building not accidentally, but intentionally: previously two men broke the window of the front door of the store, penetrated the pavilion, doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. The reason was a conflict related to work.
Employees of the threat squad on October 7 detained there, on the Murinsk road, two suspected men 30 and 36 years old. A criminal case has been opened.
